The Elimination Diet Plan

An elimination diet is a tool that health professionals like to use when a patient or client has experienced adverse effects with certain foods. Many people are led to believe that an allergy or sensitivity to a food causes noticeable reactions. What if some of the foods you are consuming are the root of some ailments you experience (such as fatigue, irritability, etc)? 

The Elimination Diet, when used properly, can lead to to discoveries of food intolerance that can ultimately lead to a healthier relationship with food. 

The University Of Wisconsin's School of Medicine and Public Health has a very detailed patient handout of the Elimination Diet that I found to be very helpful when I wanted to explore it for myself.
